The Royal Conservatoire of Brussels is a place of artistic creation but it also has a very lively student body thanks to nearly 650 musicians and actors who are studying here.
Daily life as a student at the conservatoire of course revolves around classes, rehearsals and exams, and performances are an integral part of this artistic training. To this end, almost 200 events are organised every season, offering students space and time to interact with the public. Whether by performing in symphony concerts in the main hall of the Conservatoire, or through more intimate performances in the Joseph Jongen Auditorium and other partner venues, each student will have numerous chances to work on performance and stage skills. These will be both performances supervised by the teaching staff or through individual initiatives as part of the Nocturnes or Courants d’airs festivals.
