HarMA HUB

HarMA HUB
Music Theory Tools and Activities for HMEI’s in Europe

HarMA HUB is a cooperative partnership project (Key Action 220 of the Erasmus+ programme) created by Salvatore Gioveni and funded by the European Union. HarMA HUB is directed and coordinated by the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles.  The project, which is aimed at teachers, students and researchers in music theory, will build on the results developed as part of the first edition (HarMA+, 2020-2023). The ambition of this project is to bring together music theory resources on an open, innovative, inclusive and didactic online ‘HarMA HUB’ platform by encouraging research and pedagogical innovation. While striving to achieve a certain level of informational harmonisation of academic provision at European level, the main objective of HarMA HUB is to bring together the music theory community within higher music education establishments at European level, with the aim of modernising practices and providing access to the latest knowledge and innovations in this specific field. Ultimately, the project will lead to joint reflection on the place of music theory in the training of future musicians.
