Valérie Huguenin studied at the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze in Geneva where she obtained a Licence to teach Rhythmics.
For more than 20 years, she has been teaching this method in many different ways: she teaches solfeggio and initiation to piano through improvisation in music schools and Rhythmics in public primary schools in Switzerland.
Then she lived for 10 years in Berlin, where she was confronted with other ways of learning music.
By directing a choir, working in the choreographic centre Dock11Eden ̈ ̈ ̈ and giving the Rhythmics module at SenecaIntensiv (training in dance pedagogy), she continues to explore the links between music and movement.
Since 2015, she has been living in Brussels where she teaches Rhythmics at the Academies and at the Institut Jaques-Dalcroze de Belgique.
