He holds a Diploma in Musical Acoustics from the CNSMD in Paris, and takes part in scientific research protocols on the voice, giving numerous lectures on vocal acoustics, pedagogy and certain historical and musicological themes. A scientific expert at La Voix, l'exposition qui vous parle at the Cité des Sciences in Paris, Robert is one of the authors of the book La voix chantée - Entre sciences et pratiques, edited by Nathalie Henrich and published by De Boeck-Solal.
