Biography

ALINE JANSSENS

 

 

 

Born in 1974 and mother of three children, Aline Janssens trained as a theatre teacher in Humanités Artistiques. 
As well as obtaining a degree and agrégation in Romance Literature, she trained as a vocalist in Brussels.
She also took part in Garrett List's Musical Improvisation Class at the Conservatoire royal de Liège from 2004 to 2007.

CREDO MA NON TROPPO, an a cappella vocal quartet with Florence Laloy, Pascale Sepulchre and Jean-Marc Delhausse.
ALINOPOULOS ET MARCEL MARCELSON, a song duet with accordionist Anne Niepold.
DIS-MOI WIZZZ , a cappella vocal sextet with Joëlle Carpentier, Perrine Ledent, Paul Van Waas, Mohamed Elhourairi, Jean-Marc Delhausse.
LEON ACCORDEON, a singing show for children, written by Yves Barbieux.
PAYSANNES, a show combining life stories and song. With Laetitia Moncousin and Bruna Bettiol.

Since 2004, Aline Janssens has been working as a voice teacher, running a series of early-learning music workshops for nursery school children in Auderghem, creative theatre workshops at La Vénerie in Boisfort, the EnfanTfare choir and a series of one-off projects for children and adults.

Since 2011, Aline Janssens has been offering a voice workshop at L'AKDT in Neufchâteau, as well as individual singing lessons at the Institut Musical in Genval.

Aline Janssens is currently developing a repertoire of her own songs with the group ALIJANE
She also manages singing workshops for psychiatric institutions, literacy centres and other social groups.

Since 2019, Aline has been running a vocal training course for TAP students at the CRB, first as a lecturer, then as an assistant.
