Edmond Baert, one of the great figures of Belgian cello playing and a former teacher at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, died in February this year at the age of 90. His musical talent, charisma, smile and clear advice were unforgettable. The Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles is organising an evening of tribute with people who knew him well, accompanied by a number of musical ensembles made up of current teachers and students.
