The Italian composer Fausto Romitelli, who died at the height of his artistic maturity at the age of 41, meant a great deal to Musiques Nouvelles, which was once one of his faithful sponsors. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his death, a masterly choral concert brings together previously unreleased works in a vibrant tribute performed by the ensemble in large formation accompanied by a female choir of around 32 students from the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, drawn from Marianne Pousseur's ensemble singing and contemporary practice course.
