Project meeting : At the gates of Brussels

This concert is presented by the students of the Early Music Department, as part of the Festival "Lettres en Voix".

October 7 2023 15:00

A few centuries before it became the capital of Europe, Brussels was already a hub for the arts and diplomacy. At the beginning of the 17th century, the city was a hub for artists of the highest calibre: Frescobaldi, Marini, Froberger...
The Collegium Musicum, directed by Bernard Woltèche, invites you to weave daring links between the secular and the sacred at the start of an eventful century. Vocal and instrumental consorts dialogue with the organ in a highly Baroque spatialization.
