Laurence Rosier is a professor at the ULB. She has published numerous articles and books on the French language, punctuation, and the various forms of verbal violence and hate speech, particularly against women. Her book "De l'insulte... au femmes" (From insult... to women) received the WBI Parliament's Teaching and Continuing Education Award in 2019. She is also participating in the documentary #Salepute directed by Myriam Leroy and Florence Hainaut on digital harassment against women.
