Come and make your own Pop'harpe, a cardboard harp

Make your own cardboard harp: 
Assemble the wooden frame, attach the cardboard sound box, fix the pegs and fit the strings.

Learning objectives:
Learn how the instrument works acoustically, so that you can make it your own.
Learn how to adjust the pegs and strings on a rudimentary instrument.
Learn to take care of your harp independently
Discover the place of simple harps (with no action or double strings) in the history of the harp.
Learn how to tune a cardboard harp
Learn to make semi-tones manually

Welcome and schedule: 
Welcome on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. Team work.

Saturday: Frame, case and pegs
9am: Welcome
9.30am-12.30pm: Setting up teams.  Assembling and gluing the frames. Presentation of the project and everyone's expectations. Preparation and assembly of boxes
12:30pm - 2pm: Lunch
2pm - 4pm: Fixing the pegs. Learning how to tie knots.
4:30pm -6:30pm: Applying woodstain to the frames. Fitting the low ropes

Sunday: Ropes, holding, finishing questions....
9am: Welcome
9:30am - 1:00pm: Presentation of ropes and material characteristics. Assembly of bass strings
1pm-2pm: Lunch
2pm-4pm: Fitting treble strings, adjusting pegs. Bass pre-tuning and stabilisation.
4:30pm-6:30pm: Decoration questions. Individual posture tests. Technique of ½ tones.
6:30pm-7pm : Tidying up of the room and equipment by all.
