PECA Lecture

Presentation by Sophie Mulkers of the FWB's Culture-Education Unit

February 15 2022 12:00

Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles
Chêne Site I Room 024
Duration: 1 hour

The PECA, one of the 18 projects of the "Pacte pour un Enseignement d’Excellence", is part of the general objective of reducing inequalities and improving the quality of education. Centred on the student and based on a course of Cultural and Artistic Education, it redraws the contours of the synergies between the worlds of Culture and Education, as well as the collaborations with the ESAHR, notably thanks to the mobilisation of new actors.
The cultural offer will be optimised to allow each student, from the moment they enter school, to have varied and complementary cultural and artistic experiences. Tools are also being developed to facilitate this encounter between schools, cultural operators, artists, creative and broadcasting venues, and thus contribute to one of the vocations of the PECA: to build bridges between the different fields of learning.
