Understanding sexism: instructions for use
Based on the findings on inequality between women and men, the aim of this conference is to understand what ordinary sexism is, what its consequences are, how to react to it and what can be done.

Lecture by Patricia Melotte

Patricia Melotte has been a doctor in social psychology since 2017 and is doing all her studies at the ULB. During her thesis, she is studying women's reaction to sexist remarks. She participated in several projects and studies at ULB: a study on sexist harassment in public transport, a project to fight against sexist and sexual harassment, the year of diversities, the diversity plan... before joining in 2021, cash-e, the centre for accompaniment and support in the risks of harassment towards students at ULB.
