Biography
After playing with the main French symphony orchestras (Orchestre de Paris, Orch. Du Capitole de Toulouse, Orch. Philhar. de Radio France, Orch. national de Lyon, Orch. de Bordeaux-Aquitaine, Ondif...) as well as playing bass and drums in various rock bands, he then became harpist with the National Orchestra of Scotland, where he took up residence for 5 years. He took the opportunity to rediscover his Celtic roots and accompany bagpiper Joanne McIver, while touring Europe, Russia, Japan and the USA.
Now living in France, he devotes his time to Joanne McIver's compositions, recording sessions, jazz, classical music and world music, and has played in the leading contemporary music ensembles in Europe...
Christophe is also much in demand as a studio musician, working on film soundtracks, French and international pop, and children's CDs. He has recorded around 80 albums!
