Gerald Cleaver studied jazz at the University of Michigan in 1995. He performs regularly with Miroslav Vitous, Tommy Flanagan... and in duo with Mexican singer Jean Carla in New York jazz clubs, including 55bar, Iridium and the Jazz Gallery. In 2008, he was the drummer in pianist Yaron Herman's band. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
