Florent Brémond masterclass

Born in 1973 in Marseille, Florent Brémond studied viola in Marseille with Alain Jeanneau and then at the CNSM in Paris with Pierre-Henri Xuereb, where he was unanimously awarded first prize in 1996. He also trained in quartet with Serge Collot, the Amadeus Quartet in London and the Ysaïe Quartet in Paris.
In 1999 he joined the Orchestre de Paris and in 2005 became principal viola at the Opéra de Marseille. He also divides his time between teaching viola and chamber music, with musicians such as Michel Dalberto, Philippe Muller, Renaud Capuçon, David Grimal, Nicholas Angelich, Jerome Ducros, Nora Gubish, or ensembles such as Carpe Diem, FA and Alternance.
