The ambition of the students in the Conservatoire's flute class is to create a gentle, sensitive and subtle musical atmosphere. In the intimacy of the MIM's auditorium, they will be presenting pieces by Camille Saint-Saëns, Albert Roussel, Philippe Gaubert and Paul Taffanel, with a central focus on those by Gabriel Fauré, their teacher and friend, whose death is being commemorated this year.
