Adolphe Sax, the Belgian inventor of genius, created the saxophone 180 years ago. A chameleon instrument, it was designed to sound as sweet as clarinets and as powerful as brass instruments. This programme pays tribute to the incredible range of sounds produced by the large family of saxophones played by students from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
