The song-piano duet is one of the most refined and demanding forms of chamber music: the singer must defend a poetic text that is sometimes complicated, while the pianist must confront technical difficulties that he or she will encounter nowhere else in the solo repertoire. We imagined building bridges between the students of the singing and piano classes, proposing that each duo thus formed perform a cycle of three pieces, in order to explore different states and begin in-depth work.
