Courants d'airs Festival 2022
De l'importance des océans dans le paysage cinématographique francophone (...)
A desk, two individuals, pretty ties, seagulls, and a land on the horizon. Between a gesticulated conference and a powerpointed preview, Luc Hurlu and Jean Berlu have a big project to sell us: to make a 72-hour and 53-minute film in homage to all cinematic genres. From a serial killer and his fetish trident to a Shetland in the dunes of Coxyde for a mussels and chips western, from the astonishing friendship between a seagull and a lobster to the soundtrack of The Big Blue, the film tells us the adventures of Maurice the oceanologist. Loïc and Nicolas, actors in the city, failed directors on the beach, take us on an impossible filmic epic that hijacks the codes of theatre (and cinema).
