Concert by Nicolas Wendenbaum on the Auguste Rouma collection

Commented concert

May 20 2025 12:30

The theme of the concert is the Auguste Rouma collection, named after an important 19th-century Belgian violin pedagogue whose collection is held by the library and contains a goldmine of documents devoted to the Franco-Belgian violin school from the end of the 18th century to the end of the 19th century. Nicolas Wendenbaum, a student violinist at the Conservtaoire royal de Bruxelles, is doing his M2 internship on this collection under the supervision of Margaux Sladden.
