"From 1987 to 1993, I was appointed professor of "electronic" music at the French-speaking Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, in an experimental class (with a final competition but no official diploma, and appointed anyway!). Lacking premises and equipment, classes were held in the Musiques & Recherches studios. These were years rich in passionate exchanges with curious and open-minded students (over 20 in some years). This concert presents works by the students in this class and by myself, focusing on the voice. It prepares for the master class, which offers a vast panorama of the use of the voice in acousmatic music, with numerous sound examples, all on the excellent INFLUX acousmonium in a "mini" version of ± 32 loudspeakers."
