This original project brings together all the bass classes in the Early Music section! Violone, viola da gamba, double bass, cello, bass violin, organ, recorder, bassoon, vocals, harpsichord, lute, theorbo... If you like the low tones and superb ensemble music of the 17th and 18th centuries from German-speaking countries in a joyful mix, this concert is for you! It is part of the wider theme of ornamentation in all its forms, the theme of our Department for 2024-2025. It will feature original works for these instruments, as well as transcriptions and adaptations of compositions for strings from the Baroque period.
